Do not hide your sin from me. Do you think that if you run fast enough or think that I will not know? Your sin is ever before me. Its herbs are bitter and its savor stinks. Where can you go to hide from my presence? There are not enough caves or rooms; they are not deep or far reaching enough. Approach my throne of grace. Seek me while I may be found.
Seek my mercy and grace.
“Have mercy upon me, O God, according to your loving kindness; according unto the multitude of your tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned, and done this evil in your sight: that you might be justified when you speak and be clear when you judge. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.”
Psalms 51: 1-4, 7
